The Chair of the Board of Sirte Gulf International University, Ms Salma Esbaie, met students from the Department of Medical Laboratories at the College of Health and Medical Sciences to discuss the details of the intensive training programme in medical laboratory analysis that the University will run.
The meeting provided a full explanation of how the training will work, its duration, and its theoretical and practical components. Ms Esbaie stressed that the programme aims to prepare students to enter the labour market directly through hands-on training with real samples, including sample collection and handling a wide range of laboratory tests, and that all the equipment needed for complete professional training is available.
She also emphasised the importance of students’ active participation in the programme, given its vital role in raising their scientific and practical competence, and affirmed the University’s commitment to supporting the department’s students and encouraging them to make the most of this specialised training.
