As part of its efforts to strengthen scientific and institutional partnerships and to develop academic research, Sirte Gulf International University signed two memoranda of understanding on the sidelines of the scientific symposium on the conservation of marine resources: one with the Faculty of Marine Resources at Al-Asmarya University and the other with the Libyan Centre for Sustainable Development Research.
The memoranda aim to expand cooperation in scientific research and the exchange of academic expertise, to organise scientific symposia and conferences, and to support research programmes and projects related to sustainable development and the marine environment.
The University affirms that these agreements are part of its vision of linking scientific research to national development priorities, strengthening the role of academic institutions in finding sustainable scientific solutions that serve society and the national economy, and building effective strategic partnerships with specialised research institutions.
